Starting in November, P&O Cruises Australia and Vanuatu authorities will work collectively to restart cruising to the island paradise. During this time, two cruises will depart from Australia to check protocols and processes and strengthen the rollout of cruising to Vanuatu.
This comes after Vanuatu determined to cast off obligatory pre-arrival testing for all non-locals coming into the nation by air or sea.
It will start with two P&O cruises in November, marking the start of a gradual return of cruise ship stops to Vanuatu.
The first passengers again to Vanuatu shall be these on the Pacific Encounter, which leaves Brisbane on 5 November; the second shall be these on the Pacific Adventure, which departs Sydney on 14 November.
Marguerite Fitzgerald, president of Carnival Australia and P&O Cruises Australia, mentioned that with Vanuatu becoming a member of New Zealand, New Caledonia, and Papua New Guinea reopening to cruise tourism, the corporate’s community of South Pacific locations is now full.
